Urban Decay is the leader in edgy makeup and over-the-top looks and is favoured by the most skilled of make-up junkies. Recently, it has come out with a new eye shadow palette called Moondust.

Moondust consists of 8 colours which are all sparkly and metallic and are all typically colours that you would associate with space.

As you can see, the colours are just as vibrant on skin as they are in the palette. Similar palettes from other brands don’t provide the level of coverage that Urban Decay does. You barely have to press at all with your brush and you will get a deep and bright colour. However, the glitter does make the colours difficult to blend but this is to be expected. I found that it is easier to blend one of the colours from this palette with a matte shade or even a darker metallic one. Two contrasting glitter colours are very difficult to blend, even if you use the right brushes.

Another slight issue with the palette is how much of each colour you get for the price of £36.00. Each colour is no wider than a ten pence coin so if you’re using it regularly, it probably won’t last as long as you would like it to. That being said, this palette isn’t really intended for everyday use but rather for nights out or special events.
