Yeah, you read that right.

Snap Inc is teaming up with TV giant NBCUniversal to create a new digital content studio based in California. It will work on making original scripted video content for the app, with a team of filmmakers and programmers.

This is your average news. What a load of tosh.

The shows are said to be about five minutes long.

The app has already seen some limited success for NBCUniversal when it produced a unique version of The Voice US for Snapchat. It was even nominated for an Emmy this year. The series featured clips of the coaches and auditions videos submitted by users.

The ‘Shows’ section changes daily, with fresh news, gossip and videos.

This new feature will appear under the ‘Shows’ section of the app, which already plays clips from news sites and things like Buzzfeed or IGN.

Anything will do so long as I don’t have to see the Daily Mail reporting on anything.

We get it, Kim K has a large bottom, you don’t need to keep telling us!

A few weeks ago, it was revealed that many teenagers were using social media apps like Snapchat to sell and purchase drugs.
