A huge number of stars have come together to raise money for the victims of hurricane’s Irma and Harvey. Justin Bieber, Nicki Minaj, Steve Buscemi, Bruce Willis and more all helped with telethons in Los Angeles, New York and Nashville.

There were also performances from Demi Lovato and Usher.

Hurricane Irma has been blamed for 18 deaths so far, since it hit the US on Sunday, 12 of which were from Florida. A quarter of the homes in the Florida Keys have been completely ruined and there are currently 7 million people who are without power.

Hurricane Harvey, the first of these giant storms, hit in late August, leaving thousands homeless and claiming the lives of dozens. The devastation was horrible, with the entirety of a Houston highway being submerged.

In LA, George Clooney and Julia Roberts were at a fundraiser too. The proceeds from these events will go to a bunch of charities, including Save the Children and the Rebuild Texas Fund. Selena Gomez put on a video for her massive number of followers, urging them to donate too.

Something similar happened a few weeks ago, where Kevin Hart urged people to donate and called on his famous friends to help too. He mentioned Dwayne Johnson, Beyoncé Dave Chappelle and even Justin Timberlake.

We’ll keep updating on what’s happening, but one thing is for certain. The road to recovery will be a long one for the US.
