The Ultimate ‘Game of Thrones’ Workout

Widespread love for the popular fantasy drama series ‘Game of Thrones’ has been increasing for years, since it first aired all the way back in April 2011. 5 years later, the show is entering its seventh series and is only increasing in popularity; everybody watches Game of Thrones – even the president of the United States, Barrack Obama, has fallen in love with it!

Logically, it follows that a number of popular games have been born from the show’s success and popularity, from board games, to online games, to drinking games. It seems, however, that Reebok instructor and celebrated fitness expert Emily Schromn has taken ‘Game of Thrones’ games to to an unexpected new level with the creation of her ‘Game of Thrones Workout’.

That’s right, the fitness guru has created the ultimate workout so viewers can get fit whilst enjoying their favourite fantasy TV programme and also take the stress out of another of the many deaths of the show’s beloved characters.

Follow these rules whilst watching the latest series to burn some serious calories:

1. Every time Tyrion drinks: do five walking tower inchwworms

2. Every time someone says “Winter is coming”: do five press-ups

3. Every time your online viewing platform goes into buffering mode: do three plank towel crawls until it resumes

4. Every time someone gets speared: do five burpees

5. Every time someone says “your grace”: do 10 jazz hands pop-ups

6. Every time someone goes to a brothel: do five lunges

7. Every time a dragon kills someone: do five isolated towel-slide lunges on each leg

8. Every time a main character dies: do three tricep dips

9. Every time a White Walker dies: do three fancy plank-ups on each side

10. Every time you see The Wall: do a one minute wall sit.
