A weird looking advert for a fake drug called Revival has added fuel to the rumour mill surrounding Eminem’s upcoming album. People are pondering as to whether the webpage is legit, or part of a marketing campaign for a new album from the rapper.

One big giveaway is that the E in Revival is backwards, which is one of Eminem’s trademarks.

The website claims ‘you should discuss the potential benefits and risks of REVIVAL with your doctor or clergyman. REVIVAL is a non-narcotic medication intended for daily use that can be taken with or without food.’

Another obvious reference to a song. This time a lyric in Sing For the Moment.

Another big giveaway is at the very bottom of the site is the phrase ‘REVIVAL does not cause side these side effects, but if you have them you should for sure seek medical attention, ‘I need a doctor’.

This could well be a reference to the song I Need a Doctor which Eminem produced with Dr Dre. If we were to go full conspiracy, it might be a hint that Dre has something to do with this upcoming album.

Plus, the guy in the video on the site, says at the very end, ‘I won’t waste my one shot’, another reference to an Eminem song Lose Yourself. Em’s last album was in 2013 called The Marshall Mathers LP 2. It had a few decent tunes on it, but nothing to should home about. He recently came out with a freestyle shredding into the current POTUS that may be worth a watch too.

We shall see soon I hope.

Could do with something new to listen to.
