NSFW? I guess?

Creator of ludicrous characters such as Borat and Bruno has offered to pay the fines pressed against six Czech tourists who were arrested in Kazakhstan for wearing nothing but Borat inspired mankinis.

I love every single thing about this story.

About a week ago, local media reported that the tourists had been fined the equivalent of about £51 for their ‘indecent’ appearance. The one piece bathing costume was made popular by Sacha Baron Cohen, in the 2006 classic, Borat! Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan. The film was a mockumentary, taken to the highest degree of hilarity.

The offenders were charged with minor hooliganism and I’ve never been more proud in my life.

He said to ‘send me your details and proof it was you and I will pay your fines’. The British actor’s movie was banned in Kazakhstan, due to its nature and consistent reference that it is Borat’s home country. However, in 2012, the foreign minister issued a thank you, publically, to the actor for boosting tourism.

This is now my favourite story I have ever written.
