Isle of What Now?

Asda might be smart when it comes to shopping but the supermarket giant has dropped the ball when it comes to bags in its new store on the Isle of Wight. The store opened on Monday in Newport, with 10,000 exclusive bags having been designed by two of the island’s residents.
A spelling error had made it past the bosses however with the island’s name featured as the ‘Isle of White’.
Announcing in a statement that that are ‘hanging their heads’ the company are getting the bags reprinted, so they will be fit for sale.
An Asda spokeswoman said, “This was a genuine printing error” and it was a “silly mistake” for such a new store to make. Some people (by which I mean about three) took to Twitter to express their outrage.

How on earth did ASDA on the opening of their NEW store on the Isle of Wight. Promote it by having ISLE OF WHITE on their carrier bags #DOH

So yeah, to conclude:
Sure you Americans get an eclipse but here on the Isle of Wight we got our first ASDA
