Top Gadgets for a Blog-tastic Travel Trip

Hi guys, time for another Share The World post!

Today I’ve been thinking about all the budding young travel writers out there who would love nothing more than travelling the world, not just for fun, but for a living! And what better way to kick-start a budding career in travel journalism than by setting up your own travel blog to write about your adventures? So here’s a list of key items that are really helpful for blogging whilst on the go:

    1. Smartphone/Tablet SD Card Readers
      I recently discovered these little gadgets a couple of weeks ago and I’m obsessed! They’re a great way to connect your digital camera to your smartphone so that you can transfer all your pictures on the go. This allows you to import all your photos straight into your phone or tablet and frees up your memory without you having to find a computer to use. This means that you can back up all your photos. Apple SD card readers are around £25 but cheaper alternatives range from £3 upwards and are well worth the investment as you never have to worry about losing your photos if you break/lose your camera or memory card.

    1. Travel Tripod
      Travel tripods are really handy camera tripods that fold down to small sizes, making them the perfect travel companion for all you photography lovers. These travel tripods can also be found online for low prices, and are compact and light enough to not weigh down the wandering backpackers. They’re definitely worth taking to get the perfect shot.

    1. Bluetooth Keyboards
      Wireless Bluetooth keyboards that are compatible with smartphones and tablets are the holy grail of gadgets for travel writers! They’re light and compact, with a long battery life, meaning they’re perfect for writers on the go. Save yourself from dragging heavy or expensive laptops across the world with you, and invest in a wireless keyboard which means you can write posts straight on your smartphone/tablet – it makes life ten times easier!
