This one is a little heavy.

As many of you know, Linkin Park lead singer Chester Bennington took his own life a few months ago. It was a massive blow to everyone in various circles. From those who worked closely with him, to chumps like me who listened to that music when nothing else seemed to make sense. That kind of music was so perfect for a period of everyone’s life. When you can’t express the kind of angst or anger you have.

The band changed a lot over the years. Going from a metal/hip-hop vibe to a more mainstream pop style then electronica, then real heavy metal. But the most recent video comes from their latest album, which was only released a few months before Chester’s death.

The song is titled One More Light.

It’s a fitting tribute to all of those dealing with mental issues, or those who feel like they’ve been forgotten about. Check it out below.

Now if you’ll excuse me I’m going to go binge listen to Minutes to Midnight.
